The Carolina Beach Double Sprint Triathlon is a 375-meter ocean swim beginning near Atlanta Avenue in Carolina Beach,  followed by a 1.5-mile run, then a 20K bike ride, then another 1.5-mile run, and a final 375-meter swim.
