7th Annual Carolina Beach Dragon Boat Regatta and Festival

The 7th Annual Carolina Beach Dragon Boat Regatta & Festival kicks off Friday night (6-9:30pm) at the Dragon Boat Team Village, located in the public parking lot on Canal Drive, behind the SeaWitch Café. The evening features live music, plus food, beer and soft drinks for sale. Saturday is race day (9am to 5pm) with local teams of 20 competing on 45-foot boats for the title of 2019 Carolina Beach Dragon Boat Champion. The awards ceremony (4pm) presents prizes for overall champion, 1st place teams in each category, most spirited team, and the team with the best costumes. Proceeds benefit Ocean Cure.
