Dr. Damian Brezinski, MD FACC, has earned a stellar reputation in Wilmington, NC, for his practice, both when he was a Director at Wilmington Health and now in his solo practice in Carolina Beach. Not only does he provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients of all ages, but his new office offers in-house diagnostic cardiac equipment.

Dr. Damian Brezinski, MD GACC, has opened Island Cardiology to serve the cardiac care needs of Pleasure Island and the lower Cape Fear Area. This comprehensive Cardiac Health facility is available to diagnose and treat patients with heart disease, including congenital artery disease, heart rhythm disorders and heart failure.
Dr. Brezinski graduated medical school from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed his residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He completed his fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Brezinski is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His clinical interest include angioplasty, stent, ischemic heart disease, congestive heart failure, angina, nuclear cardiology and congenital heart disease.
Dr. Brezinski has earned a reputation, while a Director at Wilmington Health, and through the treatment of thousands of patients in the Wilmington area, for his kind, patient and caring service to his patients.
Dr. Brezinski founded Chords for a Cause, a non-profit organization that brings people together to make a difference using the power of music. He also manages the non-profit organization, Keep The Beat Alive. The work of the Foundation focuses on providing heart care services to the music industry.
Island Cardiology is a complete heart care facility, providing not only fully equipped exam rooms, but also diagnostic equipment to perform heart analysis such as ultra-sound and stress-test procedures.
Dr. Brezinski is also a Medical Director with Well Care Home Health.
